Frequently Asked Questions

First Time Users - First time visitors to the site need to establish a unique username and password before taking their first exam. This Username and Password can be used to access the system for all future programs they participate in during this series. To establish an account, you can either select "new account" on the left side of the scoring module home page OR hit the "take exam" button for whichever program you are interested in and select "Create New User Account" in the top center of the page. Complete the required information, which is listed in bold and hit "create user account".

Usernames and Passwords - There is no minimum or maximum number of characters when selecting a username and password, although there can be no spaces in either. Please note that the username and password are case sensitive.

Cannot Remember Username and Password If you cannot remember the username and password you may click on the "forgot password" link on the left side of the login page. The system will prompt you to provide the e-mail address you used when registering for the program and the utility will send you e-mail with the login information. As a second option, you could create a new account with a new username and password (see first time users above), but that is not the preferred alternative as it separates your CME/CE records over two accounts.

Exams - You must answer each question in the exam or it will not be accepted by the system. If you forget to answer a question, scroll up and complete any omitted question(s) and "submit" the exam again. Once you hit "submit", please wait for the system to respond. Please do not hit "submit" again.

Evaluations - After submitting your exam successfully, you will be given the activity evaluation form. Please complete this form and hit "submit" to register your responses. It is very important for us to have your responses, both for our evaluation of the current activity and for the development of other activities in the future.

Certificates / Statements of Credit - you have passed the exam, you will see a screen with your score and a listing of any questions you missed, including the correct answer to each question missed. The CME Certificate or CE Statement of Credit will be able to be printed from your computer. If you do not have a printer, you can return to the web site at a later time, login to the system with your username and password, and select the link for "my transcript" from the menu on the left side of the home page. Duplicate certificates or statements of credit can be printed off for any exam you have successfully completed in the past.

Details link - The details link for each exam lists the title, speaker, learning objectives, and which accreditations are available for credit, and how many hours of credit are available.

View Course link - on this link will take you to the PDF content for the program.

Web Browser Security will not Allow Access - you enter your correct username and password and still cannot get into the exam, it is possible that your firewall or web browser security setting is too high for the cookies used in our system. You can temporarily lower the security level and try again to see if that is the issue. If it is, you will need to lower the web browser security level each time before taking an exam (remember to raise it again after you are done).

  • Internet Explorer for Windows: Go to "Tools", then "Internet Options", and then select the tab for "Privacy". Lower the level of security 1-2 levels, accept the change and try the exam.

  • Internet Explorer for Mac OSX: Go to "Explorer", then "Preferences", and then "Security Zones". Lower the level of security 1-2 levels and accept the change and try the exam.
