Abstract

With an increasing number of dentists incorporating surgical procedures, such as implant dentistry, into their daily practice, the ability to manage hemorrhagic complications is indispensable. The purpose of this article is to provide an updated review on contemporary oral hemostatic measures and offer literature-based recommendations on the perioperative management of the actively bleeding and hypovolemic dental patient.
